With an unbelievable mix of roots and dancehall reggae, R&B, Rock, Blues and Hip-Hop in his sound, Rising Lion has developed a reputation for bringing good vibes to every show he plays with his conscious lyrics and soul stirring music. Rising Lion is a part the Lion Productions, Ruff Stuff Records / RPH Productions family.
Rising Lion's new album “ American Dread ” is available @ I-Tunes, cdbaby, in stores and various online sites. With songs like, “ American Dread ”, “ Herbalist” ,“ Survival ”, “ Push on Natty Dread ”, “ Letting You Back In” , “ Could You Be ” , “ Tomorrow ” ,” I See The Light ” and “ My Life ”, this album is a testament to the experiences and growth of the artist over the past 3 years. As always the Lion is committed to diversity in his music and Jah message of Love, Peace, Hope , and Equal Rights For All Man Kind thus, this album will serve up reggae in various musical styles, accompanied by the Lion's fiery blues guitar in the vein of New Day (1998 Ruff Stuff Records) and Don't Lose Yourself (2001 RPH Productions).

Rising Lion has been touring the US and abroad for 16 years. The Lion has performed and proven to be a favorite at various festivals and concert series over the years: The Legends of Rasta Reggae tour, The New England Reggae Fest, The Annual Bob Marley Reggae Festival, Mountain Town Stages Concert Series, Golden Gate Park Reggae Festival, and various Live After Five Concert Series around the US to name a few.
R L has also been featured in such magazines and periodicals as The Beat , Reggae Report , Chicago Sun-Times, Orlando Weekly, Vail Daily and MK19 , and has performed on shows and festivals with the likes of Santana , Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, The Wailers, Lauren Hill , Yellowman, Toots and the Maytals, Michael Rose, Apple Gabriel, Junior Reid, The Wailing Souls, Burning Spear , The I-Tals, The Meditations ,The Mighty Diamonds, Buster Poindexter, Robin S., Selector, Inner Circle and many more.
