- Barrio Morning Glory , was formed xmas 2003 by a YOUNG group of SOUTH individuals who wants to express their love for music.Our genre is Third Wave Ska , we are backed up with our influences on SKA , PUNK / Oi Bands and Reggae music.
Our music tackles on issues of everyday life of a Filipino (from our point of view), some may be good, some of them bad ,these are experiences from which we grew up in that infamous "morning glory" street.
Our band still continues to play in productions like metal/grunge/emo/rock and shits but we prefer ska reggae punk, because in that field.. they treat us RESPECT. Even though we have no followers in the south particularly in Las Pinas/Paranaque area(here they love all types of music but not SKA so we don’t know if it is the" LYRICS" or our MUSIC GENRE is the problem but here goes the saying and our motto” KUNG HINDI NINYO KAMI TRIP WAG KAYO MAG ALALA .. TRIP NAMIN KAYO.
